MR COVERS
WELCOME TO A NEW ADVENTURE IN DESIGN!

Battle Royal

Your Cover Site Battle Royal III Champion is… Kylumi!

Cover Site Battle Royal III participants had the option of choosing from two films: Titanic (1997) or Argo (2012).

Three years in, the Battle Royal found its home on a single, dedicated site where participants and spectators alike could keep up to date with the latest on the event. This proved the most interactive Cover Site Battle Royal yet, in which everyone had a chance to voice their opinion on the second title, the preferred preview format, and, of course, the champion.

Past Champions Kernie82 and BPMFord headlined an all-star panel of judges faced with the impossible task of sifting through artwork from twenty-one highly-gifted designers and choosing only one for the ultimate title.

In the end, everything came down to a single point.

  7. Great work to all designers and a special congratulations to Kylumi for an amazing cover!

Judging was difficult and time-consuming, but also a lot of fun to see so much creativity and talent on display!

Shame on the judges who failed to leave comments on each cover as instructed. Every designer obviously put a lot of time and effort into their work… the least a judge could do is provide adequate feedback and justifications for his/her ratings.

Also, a big thanks to Tim for hosting another great competition at the beautifully-revamped MR Covers! You’re a class act all the way and a major asset to the cover community!

  8. What a great time we’ve all had! Thanks to everyone from designers to judges and of course Tim! Huge congrats to Kylumi on winning this year πŸ™‚
